You will often see references to a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) - usually an address of a Web page or file site, given in the form If you are on line now, you could click the link above to visit this site (use your browser's Back button to return to this page). Otherwise, type (or cut and paste) the address into the browser's location box next time you connect to the Internet. Many browsers allow you to omit the initial http:// (HyperText Transfer Protocol). Similarly, the location of a file to download usually takes the form To download this file with a browser such as Netscape, enter the address in the location box.
