| If data continues to be received by your computer but a
mail download does not seem to complete, it is likely that someone has sent you a very
long message, perhaps including an attached file. You can check details of your waiting mail by using Finger to probe host+@post.demon.co.uk (replace host with your own hostname - so, if you are sample.demon.co.uk you would finger sample+@post.demon.co.uk). If you omit the + sign, you will get abbreviated information about waiting mail (without details of size or sender). If you prefer to delete such mail, see section 5.7. |
