| Senders of UCE can use mailing list software to send a message to every address that is on the list. Only the address of the list will appear in the To header. Alternatively, they can use a bcc (blind carbon copy) header in which all the addressees are listed; this header will not appear in the message as received by you. However, your address will have been present in the mail "envelope", which is why the message was delivered to your machine. | ||||
